Wrestlers Shine at Gaylord Tournament

Chris Schelske, above, during tri-match on 1/28/2015 Landon Elliott (above) in action on 1/28/2015   This past weekend, the Warrior wrestlers traveled to Gaylord High School for the Northern Michigan Champions Tournament with each wrestler battling his way through a grueling 32-man bracket. The Warriors finished in 7th place out of 31 teams, despite only having 8 wrestlers participating.

Wrestlers Host 1st Home Meet Tonight

The Forest Area Wrestling team has their first home meet of the season tonight at 6pm. The Warriors will host Kingsley and Lake City. The team has had a solid year so far led by Seniors Chris Schelske, Mike White and Reese Velfling. The wrestling team heads up to the Gaylord Invitational Tournament on Saturday.

Boys Basketball Beats Mesick

Forest Area improved to 6-4 overall last night night as they traveled to Mesick to take on the Bulldogs. The Warriors came out firing and led 18-1 early in the game.
